Theseus draws his sword to slay the Minotaur after reaching the center of the labyrinth. The Minotaur’s face is full of the terror that reveals he knows he is about to die. The story of Theseus may be a myth, but still it may reflect actual history (“Did Theseus Slay the Minotaur?”).
