Only a few remain, faith-fully standing at Jesus’ cross. Depicted in the 1343 Crucifixion by Bernardo Daddi are Mary the mother of Jesus (left), Mary Magdalene (kneeling, center) and a lone man (right), the Beloved Disciple.
