The Chorazin synagogue stands again after more than one thousand years—incomplete but still imposing. Future reconstruction may place more of the beautifully carved basalt architectural pieces lying about the site into their original locations and may complete restoration of the two smaller side entrances on either side of the large center doorway, seen here at the top of the steps.
