Pre-Exilic masonry (pre-587 B.C.) excavated on the northeast side of the City of David by British archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon. Although much eroded, the long, slender stone, center, appears to have four margins and a rough, high boss. This demonstrates that Phoenician-influenced masonry was used in Jerusalem at least before the sixth century B.C.
