The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Byzantine Depictions:Strongly resembling the Jerusalem ring, this seventh-century example is in the Benaki Museum in Athens. The similarity between the two rings can be been in the hoops that encircled the wearer’s finger—composed of two metal strips framing a central twisted wavy wire—and in the bezels, the structures protruding from the hoops. The structure on this bezel is identified as the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
