From a Philistine temple, this pomegranate-shaped pottery vessel resembles the inscribed pomegranate shown to the author in Jerusalem. The Philistine vessel dates to about 1000 B.C. and was discovered at Tell Qasile, a site within the city limits of Tel Aviv.
