Zev Radovan

Bone flute: This flute was uncovered in area A at the southern tip of the City of David in the wall collapse from the end of the second Temple period. Carved from a cow’s foreleg, the hollow bone is perforated with six holes. It is one of the few musical instruments discovered in Israel in a datable context.
