“Solomon’s Pillars.” The three sheer pillars of reddish Nubian sandstone glowing in the late afternoon sun are a famous Timna landmark. At the base of the pillar on the left, beyond the jeep and blocked by the foreground rock, the temple of Hathor was uncovered.
