Jerusalem’s Old City seen from the Mount of Olives. We are looking at the eastern wall of the Old City. The Old City is separated from the Mount of Olives by the Kidron Valley. The golden dot in the center is the Dome of the Rock; to the left may be seen the silver-domed El-Aqsa mosque, both on the ancient Temple Mount.
