A reconstruction of the 4th century Constantinian basilica which covered Golgotha. It is pictured prior to the construction of the rotunda which was later built over the Tomb of Jesus. In front of the basilica was a large, columned courtyard in the niche of which was a small edicule covering the tomb itself.
