Scholar Censures Scroll Exhibit
Professor Norman Golb of the University of Chicago recently criticized the Dead Sea Scroll exhibit at Seattle’s Pacific Science Center. Golb, a leading scholar of the Dead Sea Scrolls, called the exhibit one-sided and said it omitted “relevant information” and recent developments in the controversial debate about the origins of the scrolls, thus contradicting the Science Center’s mission to present a balanced, scientific exhibit.
