This map shows some of the cities of Judah that Sennacherib attacked. It was during his campaign at Libnah (outside Lachish) that Sennacherib received word that Hezekiah was receiving aid from King Tirhakah. He responds, “See, you are relying now on Egypt, that broken reed of a staff, which will pierce the hand of anyone who leans on it” (2 Kings 18:21).
